Multi-control-room architecture

One vMix control room per site, synchronized together. The multiplex is piloted from a master control room that orchestrates everything in real time.

Secure SRT/RIST transmission

Video streams transmitted between sites via broadcast-grade protocols. Controlled latency, resilience to packet loss, end-to-end encryption.

Team coordination

Each site has its own on-site technical team. The whole is piloted from the master control room via production intercom. Systematic upstream briefings.

Unified or split broadcast

All channels delivered on a common platform (interactive multi-cam mode, GL Events style) or on separate channels as you prefer.

There's no strict technical limit. In practice, beyond 8 to 10 sites, editorial management becomes complex. My current record is a multiplex across 6 cities for Johnson & Johnson. For each project, I define the right architecture.
The secure link includes built-in error correction that absorbs packet losses. In case of total dropout, the master feed from the main site takes over immediately. A fallback plan is always prepared and tested before the event.
Yes. Zoom/Teams feeds are integrated as sources in the video gallery. Remote speakers appear as video tiles in the master feed, with their name and title displayed. I run a connection test with them the day before.
Yes, absolutely. To guarantee a flawless service and smooth project management, I always bring in at least one expert technician on each remote site to run the entire technical setup.
Expect 2 to 4 weeks for a multiplex depending on complexity. Contribution tests on each site are done 48h before the event. For recurring multiplexes, preparation is faster from the 2nd edition. Final broadcast to your audience is included.
